The staff's friendliness shines through. Clean rooms with comfortable beds ensure a restful stay. The large pool area invites relaxation for those looking to unwind.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast offered a wide range of choice. The indoor pool was a bonus when the sun was not shining. Stunning gardens.
Although the restaurant was open for three hours in the evening if you leave it too late the food is a little tired and cool. The jacuzzi was not working and the Sauna required an additional 6e.

I have stayed at the El Paraiso hotel on numerous occasions. As far as being a classed as 4 star I would have to say it doesn't meet that standard, in my experience of other 4 star hotels, however, it is most certainly value for money and the staff are excellent. The meals are just about adequate although you get what you pay for. If people want gourmet standard food then they should elect to go and eat elsewhere - but they'll have to pay and awful lot more than they do at El Paraiso! A car is definitely required as the hotel is located about 1 mile from the carretera de Cadiz (A7), but as far as I was concerned it was of no consequence as I always have a hire car.

Hotel as a whole is excellent value and wonderful relaxing, I enjoyed it.
It has a nice size and bright rooms with an amazing view and nice view over the big swimingpool plus the a/c. The breakfast is generous and varied for the pancakes, had savoury food.

the room was spacious with a nice balcony that had a view of the pool and the mountains on the side. we were on the first floor and the trees were blocking the view of the sea but the upper floors certainly can enjoy that view. also it was very quite. breakfast was very good.
the hotel is on the opposite side of the highway from the beach and we had a bit of a problem getting to and from the hotel since it was not obvious to us how to find turnarounds.

Good service, although the English was not the best.
The room was unsatisfactory. I found a glass with dried lipstick on it, unacceptable. To make matters worse, the shower handle was dirty and old-clearly not cleaned properly. I could also hear the other person breathing from the adjoining room due to the poorly insulated doors. As a result, my stay felt intrusive and uncomfortable, far from the relaxing experience I anticipated.

Comfortable yet could be improved
The pool area is wonderful, and I enjoyed relaxing under the sun. The staff were attentive.
Unfortunately, the room I had a few issues, including a lack of clean cups. The air conditioning unit emitted a strange smell upon entry, which wasn't pleasant.

Fairly clean hotel with fantastic and wonderful staff on night shift. A great area, great and super location close enough to Marbella which again has good beaches, shops, the shops and restaurants at Benavista, and the surrounding areas.

missingWrote a review on 17 Augcomfortable roomearly bar closingcold indoor pool
The room was quite comfortable, with a lovely view of the pool, and the pool area was nicely arranged with ample loungers. And the half-board option provided great value, especially with the tasty meaty pizza selection available. The bar's early closing time was disappointing, and the indoor pool was colder than expected. Some staff seemed overwhelmed, causing delays in service at times.

did not expect luxury for the money it cost - but was very good value, very clean, comfortable bed and fresh linen. breakfast excellent plenty of choice for everyone. Will be returning as we have friends who have holiday homes very close to he hotel.
the balaconies and surrounding area could do with a little tidy up.
